IN Staff Christmas Party

Intercultural Network celebrated our end-of-the-year Christmas party at the home of Janet Fierbach on 12 December with turkey, ham, and a dozen side dishes. It was a wonderful evening of hearing how God is continually working in the lives of those of us who work with immigrants and with non-Christians. Thanks for bringing the food and the fellowship.

Party Hints in a home

Party Hints continue to be played out in a home setting as Shirley Eu threw a party for 21 people to encourage parties for interculturals in Surrey. There were people from India, Pakistan, Korea, Mexico, Iran, Cyprus, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Singapore and of course, Canada! Using the Party Hints kit, we shared the Christmas story using the cleverly written script by Nikki White which involved most everyone in bringing alive the Christ of Christmas!

Sheeps bleating!
Okay, one laughing...

As you can see, whether you play an angel appearing to shepherds, or Kings bringing gifts, cows, sheeps, inn keeper, a very enthusiastic North Star, Mary and Joseph, or the drummer boy, the story crosses cultures to where inviting Jesus into one's heart becomes a real one.
